I hope you are right. I like Herman, and would still support and vote for him if he gets back in.
Gingrich has telegraphed that there will be a prominent place for both Palin and Cain in a Gingrich administration. Cain did Gingrich a big favor with that one-on-one debate. Empathy can also build strong friendships. I have also noticed that prominent black conservatives have come out almost exclusively for Gingrich (J.C. Watts, Thomas Sowell, and unofficially Herman Cain).

Cain did Gingrich a big favor with that one-on-one debate.I remember it the other way around.
Newt saved Cain on a couple of occasions in that debate.
IT wasnt debate so much as a kissyfest.
