Series question, has the toe sucker ever been right about anything?
Dick needs to put down the crack pipe, Gingrich has got South Carolina in the bag, and I have $20,000 on the line on Intrade to back up my opinion.
If he’s wrong I’ll have to stop listening to him.
One thing I do miss and that’s Newt’s political analysis. Now I have to listen to Dick Morris.
Jeez. Sounds like Morris is pretty out there, to say the least.
Just overheard Faux News panels saying that Santorum won it as well. Not sure if they’re deliberately spinning, or just seriously disconnected from reality.
Hey, Dick, weren’t you the one who predicted that Hillary will win the nomination in 2008?
I’ll have what he’s smoking!
My question remains “Why on earth would anyone listen to a word Dick has to say?”
You can tell Santorum won the debate because of all the clips of him they kept playing afterwards /s.
Whining does not constitute a debate victory, nor does poll numbers going in reverse at the speed of sound mean Romney will win SC...
Hannity is the dumbest guy in conservative talk radio.
If he ever had an original thought it would die from loneliness.
I used to listen to him when he was just a local host on WABC in New York. He basically parroted Rush Limbaugh who occupied the previous time slot.
I’ve never once been wowed by Hannity. He’s not that bright.
WRONG
There’s a reason why they call him Dick when his real name is Harold.
(Just kidding, his real name is Richard.) :-)
Well Morris isn’t the only one that thinks Newt lost, there’s Ann Coulture, Myth Romney, Chris Cristie, Krauthhammer, John McCain just to name a few. end sarcasm
Morris is becoming a gnat
The Santorum-Gingrich squabble over the early and mid-90s in Congress? Ancient history. But interesting, I find. Santorum says that Newt, in the past, wouldnt stand up and risk his position. Newt kills him on this question. Kills him. Just lays him out. A very unwise line of attack, from Rick.
Santorums comments on being in the Final Four strike me as just slightly Sally Fieldsian. Let me go to the transcript:
. . . to be standing here in the Final Four is about as amazing a thing that I could have ever conceived of happening; someone who had no money; who lost his last race; who everyone basically ignored as I traveled around South Carolina, Iowa, and and New Hampshire and just talked to people.
That sort of thing is for other people to say, I think. But then, I think a lot of what Santorum says about himself is for other people to say, if it is to be said at all.
Harsh? Yeah, possibly.
Santorums closing pitch: Unfair, for one thing, because, unlike the others, he attacks other candidates, and they will not have the opportunity to respond.
Santorum says, Were the only people in this race that actually has won a swing state. I can hear Romney thinking, Well, I won in a liberal state.
More Santorum: I come with the working class and strong credentials, not just with a plan, but with the character that fits in with exactly the voters we need.
Gag me, gag me. Barf, barf.
I just heard Mark Sanford on Fox this morning say that the big focus right now is the economy and jobs the evangelicals will not be enough to help Santorum in SC. He sees Gingrich winning.
All of these pundits....are missing the sentence at the end of their shows. Which is, “and if I am wrong, I will shut down my site, and STFU on a permanent basis and find another line of work like maybe being a Wal-Mart greeter.
Morris is really my prime example, I guess. Either these folks are realists and claim to be able to predict things *accurately*, or, like Jim Cramer, they are entertainment and shouldn’t be regarded as having any credibility at all. At ALL. I’m very tired of these pundits who may or may not know they are being used by forces much bigger than they are...a 20% hit rate doesn’t make them a credible source. Indeed, it argues forcibly for the opposite.
Come to think of it, The term “accurate prediction” is redundant. Inaccurate predictions are no different from WAGs, and couching them in some vague cloak of credibility is nothing more than a form of fraud. The truth is, nobody can predict the future.
