You know, as much as zero hates Texas, I could see where his count of 57 states includes the conventional plus PR, Guam, ?Samoa? and the 5 states Texas can be any time it wishes.
Sorry to be pedantic, but i live in Samoa and we aint part of the USA, Samoa is an Independent State since 1962 celebrating 50 years this year. You are confusing us with American Samoa a small place with about 30,000 residents 1 hour flight from here. Not the same place by any means. Cheers
