What in the world makes you think that Paul could beat Obama in the general election?

Ron Paul would peel off a lot of demos and independents and get a MASSIVE turnout by young people.
Gingrich and Romney cant and wont.
And if we “win” w Romney - what do we gain. if anything?
I think the idea is we want the Paul people to come out and vote for our guy and not stay home, sulk and get stoned (or go third party).
The Paul people, btw, that I know personally are not stoners. They include a former Marine, a successful investment counselor and a small-businessman plumber.
Sarah Palin has been saying very nice things about Paul. Sarah is smart.
Paul is not going to be the nominee.
OTOH, if this thing does go to convention, Paul will have his delegates to dispense.
He'd have the youth vote, most all the people who are marked as fringe elements of either party, libertarians, and anyone who was serious about deposing Obama.
Would you not vote for Paul if he got the nomination? Stay home and sit down for Obama? Or would you vote against DuhWon and let the Congress do its job of proposing legislation for a signature or veto (while a half dozen executive branch departments closed their doors)?
If it really is ABO (anyone but obama), he could win.
