Thanks, guys.

A lot of the 'enlightened' thinking about the US Constitution and our American system of government is due to the fact that Americans of modern times have no living memory of how brutal and harsh a world their ancestors lived in.

Even now, when any American can hop a plane and walk among impoverished and enslaved people, some still do not quite grasp that evil will always seek to suppress and enslave, unless it is held in check by a strict set of social organizing agreements (and a moral, vigilant people who will defend them).

Liberals and other ignoramuses seem to believe that the only thing required to ensure life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, is to "give peace a chance", or some such gobbledegook. They're easy prey for those who sell enslavement under the guise of "fairness", "inclusion", "worker's rights", and other such Communist platitudes.

Ignorance is the enemy in the long hard battle we fight, to maintain what the Framers bequeathed to us.

Add to that, Americans have forgotten what freedom is.

In many ways, we have relinquished so much more than what the Founding Fathers did and ultimately went to war over.

We, should be....ashamed ;(

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.
