I suspect we are seeing a reaction, and possibly an over-reaction, to what happened in the ‘80’s and ‘90s when a number of people had their lives destroyed over what turned out to be totally concocted charges of child abuse.
You’re right, and I should have mentioned the risk of false accusations. But here, we have multiple, similar accusations over several years, by people who never met one another. And we have the photos and the DNA.
But we also have submissive people being taken advantage of by clever predators. And we have a bureaucracy and a teachers’ union that are purely self-serving. And we have a liberal establishment that lets in great numbers of immigrants, legal and illegal, but then cuts back on public hospitals and pays little attention to public schools. How ‘tolerant’ and ‘diverse’ is that?
