Yeah, I’m old enough to be engaged back then. That is why I find your argument preposterous. Once again you refuse to back this claim up with anymore than Rogan’s unbelievable memory where he is able to quote Santorum verbatim in a meeting that happened in 1998. The article claims he took a lot of notes. Apperently he had a steno machine on hand. You also post the FR thread, but don’t post the no name blog where this whole idea is being pimped. I on the other hand can point to the congressional record where Santorums votes on impeachment are there for all to see. How did old Rick vote on impeachment?

Let Ricky refute James Rogan's account. Oh, how I would love to ask Rick that question in a public setting. Good grief, don't tell me you were engaged.

Ricky voted on what he could later pass off as being politically correct all the while protecting the gutter snipe to stay in office. Allowing the Clintions the opportunity of planting in permanent position of government his workers to corrupt the government process. The refusal of Lott and Santorum to have live witness and the production of the evidence is NOT Christian. It is playing as the devil's advocate.

Why bother. The only ones pushing this is the no name blog and you.

Through out recorded history the 'majority' has never been on the side of 'right'. And there is nothing new under the sun.

There is a huge difference between a vocal minority pointing out an injustice and a very small handful of people grinding an ax with scant here say evidence from one man, from one meeting 14 years ago.

You aren’t the first freeper who suggested that Santorum being against abortion in the case of rape was a bad position, or a liberal one.

It isn’t common for the scared politicians, but it is the correct conservative pro-life position. If abortion is murder, you can’t condone it because of tehe sins of the child’s father.

The liberal position of course is that if you are raped, or just have sex and forgot a condom, that your insurer should be required to give you free abortion pills, even if abortion is against their faith and belief.

think its pretty clear to even someone with a tiny brain

Maybe it is clear ONLY to people with a tiny brain.

The "Santorum is ROmney's stalking horse" is so yesterday's argument. Today's argument is "we were just kidding, Santorum and Gingrich should split the delegates and get a brokered convention, and THEN Santorum should let Gingrich have the nomination".

You do not believe evidence. Rick Santorum prevented the presentation of the evidence that Bill Clinton should have been removed from office. On that evidence alone how can I possibly trust him to stand up to Obama. They say character matters well apparently NOT.

Hey, don’t knock it. A few weeks ago the argument was that Santorum couldn’t lead a flea, couldn’t influence a lemming, and couldn’t sway a voter.

Now the argument is that he single-handedly stopped the Clinton Impeachment, was the sole reason Specter won his election, was directly responsible for Obamacare passing 4 years after he was voted out of office, and was the architect of the 16 trillion dollar deficit.

The man was the number one mover in the past decade. And now he’s on our side. Who needs Gingrich, he’s so 1990s. Look at the record — he pimped global warming, and now he’s had to deny it. He loved cap and trade, and nobody followed. He spent years advicing Freddie and Fannie, and they went broke and ruined the housing market, because as Gingrich admits, they wouldn’t actually listen to a word he said.

In other words, Gingrich says people hire him, but he has no influence; he goes on national television to call for action on global warming, but nobody listens to him, he can’t win a debate if the crowd isn’t already on his side, and he can’t win an argument with someone who isn’t truthful.

By the actual words of Gingrich and his supporters, it seems clear which candidate is better at influencing people and getting his way.

So long as Santorum is promising to work for conservative causes, I think the Gingrich supporters are telling me he’ll be successful.

:-)

Once again, based on flimsy here say evidence of one man. Feel free to trash Santorum all you want. I suspect you would be on to some other so called issue about him that make you outraged. Just be aware that every time you peddle this line of nonsense on a Santorum thread, I am going to call it out for the garbage rumor that it is.

Only to a willing blind person would the evidence be called flimsy. And 'truth' can NEVER trash anyone. And if you need to stalk me then have at it.

Yes, you do sure need to be on a Santorum thread throwing blankets over truth. And any time I see Newt get bashed for his sins I will be sure to let the basher know that Santorum politically committed adultery to US.

Yeah, it’s verified in Schipper’s book, SEllOUT (2000), on page 9. There were about twenty people in the room.

It is interesting to note, Laz, that Santorum later voted for two counts in the Senate trial, both for Clinton’s guilt. But it did not matter because there weren’t enough votes. So they were throw away votes, to make himself look good to conservatives.

I do not have a copy of that book and I can find no quote on line to him blaming Santorum for derailing the impeachment.

Feel free to vote for Newt. It looks like he needs all the help he can get. I am sticking with Santorum.

" Whoever is the most viable non Romney seems to be the answer I’m hearing. "

The BIG MO is with Rick now at the moment and is the most viable against Romney now.

Don't worry, these folks are just getting over their hangover of sour grapes, they are not classy losers.... they are all uptight that they were WRONG and that Rick actually won something.... and they can't stand that their guy Newt is sinking in the polls and that Rick has actually won more states than Newt... but, we can't have that kind of talk here on FR ? can't we ?
