No, candidates don’t have to lie and mislead people. What Romney said is factually incorrect, based upon the koran and the history of islam.

Candidates don’t have to be blunt, but we have every right to expect them to speak truthfully. It’s ridiculous that anyone would give him a pass on this.

Ok, so the bottom line appears to be that you are OK with candidates lying about their core rather than defending it passionately, as each crowed maybe different. Because you appear to be a Romney supporter/defender I am actually not surprised you stated that.
