Don’t criticize Issa too quickly. The Republicans in the House could use a contempt proceeding during the summer to put a lot of pressure on Obama, in which he would likely throw Holder under the bus.

Unlike impeachment, contempt proceedings by congress are limited to just one of the bodies. Reid in the senate could not block it in any way, and it just requires a simple majority vote, first by the committee, then the house as a whole.

Lots of possibilities here, some of which result in an extended pummeling of Holder and lots of pressure on Obama.

They could do a lot of things, but they have done NOTHING.

Boy, I’m sure glad we took the time to elect so many republiclucks to congress in 2010, because they have done-

1. Nothing.

2. Nothing.

3. Nothing.

4. Nothing.

5. Nothing.

Could anything that Issa has against Holder be held over until after the election and then press charges, and possible prison?

Issa I am sure truly wants to get Holder, but the "race card" during election time is crucial, (horrible to say,but true).

But: if he does nothing, we conservatives will be mad

if he does do something, the leftist voters will retaliate for getting the black man.

Choice?

The White House Insider, in the serial Ulsterman Report, indicated weeks ago that Issa nailing Holder is key to the Obama White House unraveling, including Jarrett, but given all the other nefarious events the Insider relates of the White House web, it takes very little imagination to understand that Issa himself would come under horrendous pressures. I do not envy Issa in this work. It is dangerous possibly, and to what degree the danger may wrap up Boehner, with his meek projections on the Holder investigation, is still a very good question.

It is enough to give one the vapors to entertain very deeply the version held by the WHI, on certain people, places and things, and what he deems as, “key”.

Don’t be naive. Thinking about “possibilities” is essentially wishful thinking here.

Don't criticize Issa too quickly. The Republicans in the House could use a contempt proceeding during the summer to put a lot of pressure on Obama, in which he would likely throw Holder under the bus.

Wouldn't that just be playing politics? I'm not trying to be naive, but won't the MSM and the DNC just discount proceedings in the summer as politics as usual? If Issa has the goods now he should press now and expose as corrupt all of those involved.

Unlike impeachment, contempt proceedings by congress are limited to just one of the bodies. Reid in the senate could not block it in any way, and it just requires a simple majority vote, first by the committee, then the house as a whole.

After having found Holder in contempt shouldn't the House force the Senate to vote on the issue? If they don't aren't they just playing politics?

Should a grand jury be involved? Should there be a special prosecutor? Should Issa put Obama under pressure by demanding a special counsel?

Lots of possibilities here, some of which result in an extended pummeling of Holder and lots of pressure on Obama.

I'm all for the pressure, but I'm more for indictments if warranted.!

Regards,

TS
