Is past and future alien concepts to you? Santorum has been on record as opposing gay marriage and will use his power as President to push for it’s ban.

So what’s with the asking for past precedent for someone’s call for future action?

Nice spin, to justify Obama. The fact is not a single state has voted for gay marriage. So there is currently no state in your mythical category of being in danger of oppression. If you knew Santorum, you'd know he was too wimpy to ever attempt that, even if he wanted to. What you are worried, is that he might not take action to pro-actively impose gay marriage. Meanwhile in the majority of states that voted to not change marriage, you don't believe they should be defended.

Typical Obama voter. Not only do you want to impose your views on me, you want to vilify me for desiring freedom.

I know, past precedent is bad. You consider your fantasy of what might happen equal to evidence of what has already happened? You keep touching the red hot stove, because just because you got burned last time is no evidence you'll get burned next time.

Let me guess you are also one of those people who want to let hardened criminals back on the streets because the past precedent (They murdered someone) does not equal their future call to action. (They promise they'll be good.)
