Manual typewriters have littl metal arms that swing —sometimes not all the ink is pressed onto the page and the resulting letter features tiny empty spots.

Well, in those little voids we should see the underlying document color, green, right?
But we don’t —we see WHITE.
Some idiot electronically put in the green AFTER they cooked up the text.
