My own personal pin-drop moment:
My family was visiting the Grand Canyon, and a Japanese tourist remarked to my father that, as beautiful as the GC is, Mount Fiji is much more grand. My Dad thought about it a moment, and said “It certainly is nice, I saw it when I once visited. In 1945.”
You could have heard a pin drop.
