I didn’t say I wouldn’t vote for Rick if he were to face Obama. I don’t think voting for Romney over Obama is meaningful, and even has some downsides politically.

What is the political upside of having 0bama make the next three to four appointments to the Supreme Court? I personally don’t belive a Romney presidency would give us justices anything like the out of the closet leftists Sotomayor and Kagan, and that is enough reason to get me to vote for the guy. How confident are you that we’ll take the Senate and be able to block the next robed abominations 0bama will surely send our way if retained? I’m not saying Romeny is a conservative choice, I’m saying that if he’s the nominee then he’s the only tourniquet we have available. Or we can stay home or vote third party and choose to let the bleeding continue.

Personally, I think that Obama wants to run against Romney and I will tell you why.

I think that Obama is planning to pull back on Obamacare, while if it looks like it won’t pass the Supreme Court, pull back and call for the mandate to be passed on the state level by the individual states.

Romney is on record saying that this was possible and WA state is well on the way to doing just that. As soon as the first Florida ruling against Obamacare was submitted, WA State took steps to pass legislation that prepares the state for socialized medicine, steps that were not required by Obamacare until 2014.

WA already has assisted suicide and they were suing pharmacists who refused to supply the morning after pills due a conscientious objection. There have been numerous court cases against Catholic hospitals that don’t provide assisted suicide. Then this week the legislature is proposing to take over the health insurance from the teachers’ unions, providing a single payer system for all teachers, with a 25% premium paid by the teachers and a co-pay.
