The “stalking” horse is Gingrich. He’s done very well so far to insure that Romney squeaked by in WA, MI, and OH (by one point) by siphoning off marginal and insignificant but yet but critical percentages of the vote like Gingrich’s 7% vote tally in MI. He could not get 50% in his own home state despite all his efforts, and large ad buys. He was thrashed soundly by Santorum in TN and AK. With a $1.6 Fannie Mae albatross around his neck, amnesty (for grandmothers), pie-in-the-sky $2.50 gal/gas within two years regardless of world energy markets or geo-political conditions, and dreamy cosmic ideas of permanent lunar-based colonies within 8 years at a time of exploding trillion dollar deficits and $16T national debt is laughable even by the standards of the sanitarium.
