The democrats made up their phony hearing in order to reframe the argument from Obamacare attempting to force people to pay for insurance that violates their moral and religious beliefs, to the old guys in the GOP want to interfere with women's health. Rush fell into that trap and helped them do it.

The week before all the pressure was on Sebelius to reiterate their policy a hundred times to stop offending Catholics. Since Rush made his comments it has all been about contraception. Contraception is a symptom, but it isn't the whole disease. The disease is Obamacare and its mandates.
