I have never seen the political establishment try to push a candidate down the throats of an unwilling electorate as this.

An even worse situation: Mittens (aka Zer0-lite) will renege on repeal of ObamaCare (and just about everything else he's promised).

Mittens is an East Coast LIBERAL Pubbie. He doesn't believe in rocking the boat and doing the real reforms that must be done. Everything will be half-hearted, half-assed, or not done at all. He will keep on the Big Government course and continue to spend and tax — only not as bad as Zer0.

Good analysis. Right on target.

Mr. Newt's bold and courageous ideas give us hope that America can be great again. I simply don't get that feeling of hope from Santorum or Romney. As for Romney, how can a man who has been running for president 7+ years, and that has spent God only knows how much money, can be in the shape he is? Money will not buy this election.

WE THE PEOPLE will make this choice this time around! God is on our side and my faith in God tells me he has a plan. Mr. Newt is part of that plan.

Being a marginal flincher is about the kindest thing one could say about Mitt

I’m afraid you see all too well, Grace, but if worst comes to worst, join me in holding your nose, voting Mitt in, and doing all we can to intimidate him into reasonable governance. Newt would be my choice too, but we might be able to put some tight reins on him.

Barack Hussein has already “ruled” that he can take anything we have if it’s needed for his defense. What will he try to take if given a second term? Our children? He already has some of them near “walking dead” status in our public schools.

So true. I call the Bushes, Dole, McCain, Romney types “placeholders,” as uninspiring men who refused to acknowledge or act on the clear and present danger of a radicalized rat party.

Newt understands the threat the rats present to our republic and freedoms and will happily destroy them.

So far, Gingrich hasn’t proven he’s a national candidate, and he’s only won two states thus far.

We need strength in the WH starting in 2013. Someone with a plan, a vision and the experience to “get ‘er done!”

I've long thought that the Obama administration has been leaving sand traps and landmines behind ... just in case Zero loses the election.

We need someone who can maneuver through these and dismantle them as we move back to a Constitutional Republic.

That “someone” is Newt Gingrich!
