Heard it on Lars Larson radio today. Oregon has their own instant background check when purchasing a firearm. Instead of the dealer going through the FBI for a free background check he goes through Oregon State police for a $10 fee and they do the free FBI check for you.
Evidently this last weekend, during some big gun shows, and through the last couple days, no approvals for purchase were made. The law states that if an answer does not come within three days the dealer can turn the gun over to the buyer. The state, however, has warned dealers not to turn any guns over to buyers.
Lars is a big 2nd amendment conservative and will keep on top of this. Computer problems? State officials flexing their sphincters? Trial run???
Just checked the State Police website. Turns out it was a phone company equipment failure. Everything supposedly working again:)
Had a lot of concerned citizens there for awhile.
We have become a nation of SHEEPLE ,,, I hear a lot of resistant rhetoric but never any action . We have a usurper in the WH and can't get one congressional rep. with so called standing to challenge his eligibility . We sit on our asses and watch as our rights and liberties slowly evaporate form existence and do nothing . The frog is still in the pot of very warm water and hasn't budged a millimeter . So now right before the Nov. election the usurper positions himself for the final blow at the state and still there is no one in the house willing to stand up to him . What makes you people think he won't get away with a coup . The only hope I can see we have right now is that perhaps the National Guard and the US Military will not enforce his takeover . I expect riots to begin this summer with usurper imposed martial quickly invoked , the Nov. election will be suspended , the Nat.Def. Res. Prep. order will be imposed and the usurper will be well on his way to collapsing the economy and our constitutional republic . All this while the frog in the pot is over come . So let's just sit on our asses doing nothing and watch to see if he can pull this off . Where are today's patriots in our government today ??? I fear we are simply a nation of sheeple and the only hope we have is the military’s resistance to his take over . It's going to be a long hot summer at any rate ,,,, enjoy it while you can .
