The American people are not stupid. The natural born citizenship of past presidents, (or grandfathered eligibility) has been self evident with the exception of Arthur.

Re: Dwight Eishenhower

A small army of neighbors, friends, and relatives ( along with Eisenhower's brother) stood ready to testify that:

**They knew the parents of Ike Eisenhower.

**They visited the new baby and mom and brought meals and gifts on the day little Ike was born or very soon afterward. They could testify of the pregnancy.

**There are likely church records still existing that prove his christening, and many witnesses still living could testify that they attended.

If Obama had evidence of this sort, his eligibility would never be in question. He doesn't have witnesses that can testify of his origins.

So! ....Here is a refutation of your post and I managed to do it without calling you a drooler, afterbirfer, or stating that your post is jetsome, as you did with Flotsam_Jetsome. Alinsky tactics are like the wack a mole game at a carnival. Do you seriously think you can get away with these tactics here on Free Republic? Really?

The Constitution was written by honorable men for honorable men. They did not dream that someone who wasn't eligible would even think of running for the office let alone actually winning the privilege.

The truth will out. The truth always does. It would be nice if it were in our lifetime or even before the fall.

Obama must not have been eligible, and nothing to do with his father. The best Occam’s Razor story is that when 17-year-old Stanley Ann, having recently graduated from high school in Seattle, got knocked up within weeks of beginning college in Hawaii, in 1961 by a black man, she was sent over the border where all Seattle girls went in trouble, to an unwed mother’s home in Vancouver. The original intent was probably to give the baby up for adoption. She decided she would keep the baby, which jibes with the eyewitness friends seeing her in sept 1961 in Seattle, where she was enrolled in college, with a little newborn Barack whom she didn’t yet know how to care for.

In 1961 an American woman had to have been in the united states a certain number of years post age 15 in order to confer citizenship upon her foreign born baby. No doubt this was a surprise to Stanley Ann after the fact. Still, baby Barack didn’t have need for documentation until his trip to Indonesia at around age 4 or 5. He may have been included on Stanley Ann’s passport, but it is missing from record. New daddy soetoro may have come up with something for Barack. His first real citizenship may have been either Canadian or Indonesian.

The fact of so many documentary improprieties naturally means he didn’t have access to legitimate documents.

Americans need to push for answers rather than mock any questioners. After all, don’t liberals believe in “Questioning Authority?”
