It still sounds pathetic to me. How many platoons of properly equipped Marines would it take to take care of 10,000 half-witted ex-con NBPs? Two? Three?
I would not like to find out since any conflict with NBPP and armed forces would be in an urban setting, and historically urban settings have always favored the defenders. Urban warfare has also historically been the environs where the most casualties occurred.
Purely fantastical speculation but still with the NBPP rhetoric, it would bear watching. No real numbers of men have been beating a path to their door in the past, but who knows? Gin enough of them up, and you may have some issues.
