So, does this mean that Gingrich was the stalking horse for Romney, as many claimed Santorum was? Just asking...

That’s what I’m wondering. Is Gingrich a shill for the RP house, splitting the conservative vote so that lib Romney gets the nomination.

So, does this mean that Gingrich was the stalking horse for Romney, as many claimed Santorum was?No, and neither was Santorum. Contrary to the fevered imaginings of many here, there is no deep, dark conspiracy to make Romney the nominee. All along he's had the best funding and organization, as well as the benefit and experience of having run before.
It's time for many conservatives to fish or cut bait. Romney will be the Republican nominee. In November only Obama or Romney will have a chance to win the presidency. You want four more years of Obama? Then you know what to do. All the blah, blah, blah between now and then doesn't mean squat.

Seems so. Hopefully we can get some apologies.

what complete nonsense ... that Newt Gingrich is Willard's stalking horse ...
the best evidence is that Willard was forced to spend tens-of-millions for negative "carpet-bombong" ads against Newt in Florida and elsewhere ...
Santorum is best qualified for that "stalking horse" role, since it was Pastor Ricky who so enthusiastically endorsed Romney ...
