Whether you vote for Romney or Obama is beside the point, in the end, God will use them somehow to show us the way. Whether its to stand up and fight against the certain tyranny Obama will bring, or to use Romney as an illustration of false religion he follows (or to reveal the fickle, dark heart men possess when they say anything to anyone to fill their own selfish desires), it will because of His design, not ours.
I dissagree. God will try to use whatever candidate we choose to teach us. But the fact is, that God gave dominion of the earth over to man. It's men that vote for the candidates. God may try to pick up the pieces, but that doesn't make our votes "beside the point" or irrelevant, which is what your post seemed to be saying.
Just like everything that happens is not God's will. It's never God's will that people sin, but they do. It's never God's will that people reject him and die in their ins, and thus face the second death, but they do.
