It’s called logic. You’d have to be retarded to think that God would go through the trouble of developing a mechanism like evolution, that basically didn’t work on it’s own and could only work if you performed trillions of miracles, constantly, for billions of years, to create a human you could have made instantly in the first place.

Then why make the world in an instant, but make it look like its billions of years old?

And yet this is EXACTLY Behe’s proposition - that evolution was part of the design - and yet it is not capable of enacting change in living species in response to environmental pressure or in creating complex interactions without direct intervention by a “designer”.

Behe accepts the long ages of the Earth and the common descent of species - but he thinks that evolution isn't sufficient to carry it off by itself - it needed constant miraculous intervention - trillions of them over billions of years.

Retarded about covers it.
