Many people here are certain Nixon was a liberal. Forget that for the moment.
Nixon took on the left. He fought them. He called them out. He had patriotic groups like the hard hats marching to support America.
They destroyed Nixon or he destroyed himself, and ever since we’ve had this kinder, gentler bullcrap when dealing with people who hate us and are on a path to destroy this country. Breaks my heart to see it.
Those hardhats (i remember the time very well)were born in the 40’s and 50’s for the most part. a very different generation of people. Country first. Now it’s union first.
