I remember donaldson shouting to President Reagan, not once, but quite a few times. He even called President Reagan dumb, slow thinking and nothing but an actor. Nancy said donaldson “shot from the lip”. He even helped the female reportettes make snide remarks about the way Nancy dressed. Speaking of donaldson, I recall, during the VietNam War, his busboy told others how donaldson would show up at the news reporter’s favorite restaurant with wet or damp trousers. He made it look like he’d just come in from battle. He was not always in battle as he pretended. He would “dress” for dinner....step into the shower and dampen his trousers. I kid you not..I read this from his busboy.
