I’m sad to say all of these purist “principled conservative” Frepers would have lost us World War II.

Not a single one of them have the fortitude to take the difficult action in the short run for long-term victory. Not a single one of them understands that Churchill constantly had to compromise his principles in order to gain the strategic victory, right down to letting thousands of civilians be killed in V2 raids because he could not betray that they had cracked the German Enigma code.

This pure as the driven snow idealist Freepers would have lost us World War II with their morally superior decision making that would leave them as high-brow martyrs of their German and Japanese victors.

I’m not willing to lose the war so I can say I held to my feel-good principles of not having to hold my nose and vote for a RINO. NO siree. Not me.
