They also say married men live longer than single men. They really don’t, it just seems that way.
It’s like an object approaching the speed of light (c), the closer it approaches the slower time becomes.
Marriage is the same way, for every additional anniversary, time slows down... then you croak out of sheer exhaustion.
Single men tend to eat out a lot....bad for health....home cooked healthy meals, TLC and some pampering go a long way toward a longer life. I married a widower, his cholesterol was out the roof..now under control....I’ve been low cholesterol cooking for a decade before we married. And make him take all the good vitamins he should be taking. And I make sure he does not climb on the roof with out me there. At 72 he does not belong on the roof. My 30 year old can come do that kind of work.
There are a lot more old widows than widowers at my church.........
