I thought the title was a beginning of a limerick, dirty or otherwise, but then I found that just like there is no perfect rhyme to the word ‘orange’, neither there is a perfect rhyme to the word ‘mirror’.

Sorry to disappoint you: the topic kind of came into my head all at once as I was sitting down at Mass this morning.

The good thing about limericks is you can use assonances ("getting the rhyme wrong.")

So for mirror, good approximate matches would be anything with "...earer" such as

"nearer"
or
"hearer"
or
"dearer"
