(ABC News) -- A former U.S. president is accusing the current president of sanctioning the "widespread abuse of human rights" by authorizing drone strikes to kill suspected terrorists.
Jimmy Carter, America's 39 th president, denounced the Obama administration for "clearly violating" 10 of the 30 articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, writing in a New York Times op-ed on Monday that the "United States is abandoning its role as the global champion of human rights."
"Instead of making the world safer, America's violation of international human rights abets our enemies and alienates our friends," Carter wrote.

Now this is good. Maybe he needs to have his Nobel Peace prize stripped by the organization that awarded it to him. That is a good as the House and Senate impeaching him.

It’s only a problem when they kill Muslims
If Dems used the drones on Waco or Ruby Ridge, Jimmy would cheer them on.

The ABC News story you copied onto your blog had a different title than the one you made up and posted here:
"Jimmy Carter Denounces Obama For International Human Rights Violations. "
Your made-up title had to be removed and replaced with the original title.
Also you listed your blog's name as the source of the article and also had to be removed. The link you used which goes to your blog has been replaced with a link going to the source of the original article.
If you copy and paste someone else's material onto your personal blog yet still want to post it here, the original published title must be used, the original writer and source must be attributed, and a working link to the original article must be used before posting it here on Free Republic.
Thanks.

Jimmie's in Bitch-envy because Hussein is doing a better job of dismantling our basic Freedoms, National Security, and Sovereignty than he did.

I’m not sure what your point is by bringing the Bushes into this unless you just can’t let an opportunity for Bush bashing go by.

There's a fundamental difference between that old hayseed Carter and the Anti-Christ-In-Chief. Carter was an incompetent ideologue who's drifted without a rudder ever more leftward in his geezerhood, although domestically he took some surprisingly conservative positions in his earlier days. As president, he was a disaster by any measure, but I don't think he went out of his way to destroy the country. He was just a boob who was in over his head. Obama, on the other hand, is a different matter. There's a malevolence there unlike anything this country has ever seen. He and his handlers - and I DO believe there are puppet-masters in the shadows, pulling his strings - are consciously orchestrating the demise of this nation. And they aren't going to go quietly, no matter how clearly we send them a Constitutional message or how firmly we stand our ground. The most dangerous days for us individually and as a sovereign nation of laws are still ahead of us.

A cogent analysis, Viking. Jimmie was certainly ineffectual during his term in office but I don't think he had the hatred of our basic values exhibited by Obama. Obama is indeed the Spawn of Satan, and I only hope that our compatriots awake from their slumber soon enough to stop him. It's later than they think.
