The fact is that this is perhaps the second-worst Supreme Court decision in American history, next to Roe v. Wade.

I would say that this is the second-worst Supreme Court decision in American history, next to Dred Scott. It's also likely, unless reconsidered or repealed, to lead to the same complications as the worst Court decision in history.

If this smirking, dimpled, little twit thinks his actions of joining the enemies of America by issuing forth a marvelous jurisdictional achievement by completely ignoring the tattered Constitution then he is wrong!

Roberts will go down in history as having joined the side who are killing America. He deserves being labeled a villain who has accomplished more in one fell swoop than the assorted Obama gang has in over three years of sodomizing this nation!

Crawl into a corner, Roberts as America will continue to review your treachery for what’s left of its history.

The enormity of Robert’s action is mind-boggling. America is outnumbered by our fifth columnists and Roberts will be infamous for leading the pack!

Our Constitution means nothing to the majority of the Supreme Court....America is doomed unless something happens to the people who do love their country that will scare our internal enemies to death.

Unfortunately, those enemies include a vast number of Americans who know nothing about the nation, but occasionally vote to the nation’s detriment.

Additionally, we shouldn’t forget that we don’t know who all our enemies are when we consider that G. W. Bush appointed this fool who thinks he is the Court’s PR man.

Appeal to who? The USSC is the highest court in the land...

Why not appealed yet? Good question. Last night on Greta’s show, some GOP rep was talking about how it would take three - yes 3 or so very long weeks to file that CIVIL suit against Holder in DC court. Greta’s answer was - that is simple and why isn’t it filed yet.

The dance that young fellow did was amazing. In other words, the GOP - boner’s house gop’ers - were WAITING to give the DOJ just a teeny weeny little more time to come clean.

Greta went balistic, almost. Get on with it folks. Hit them on all sides - not just tap them on the hand and ask polite questions. We just got hit with the Chicago way in the Supreme Court. This country is being smothered with 1,000 cuts since Obama got in office and the problems this administration and czars have put into place may never be untangled. And OUR so called GOP is just sitting on their hands. We need a bigger event than a T.E.A. party folks. Let’s get on it.

Indeed, if the political strategy would have to make Democrates single handedly carry all the waters of evil on their own shoulders, Roberts has basicaly taken that burden off of their shoulders and washed their hands.

It’s not that Roberts made a mistake or is responsible for Obamacare so to speak, it is that he went to them submissive and admirative enough to wash their hands off of this blood and take on for them in grotesque self sacrifice the task of evil and responsability for them, saving this crap and disaster for them.

I’ll add one more thing. I’m fortunate to have a very good GOP group in my county / state of Wisconsin, however we are NOT left of center. These RINOS that are everywhere calling themselves GOP are sickening. DC is chock full of RINOS.

Conservatives need to take control and it’s not easy.

“But Roberts pays attention to media coverage. As chief justice, he is keenly aware of his leadership role on the court, and he also is sensitive to how the court is perceived by the public.”

The press spin, again, reframing reality for us. Roberts was threatened by Dear Leader in some way.

Am I right in that 26 states filed this law suit, but there are other states that did NOT partake so as to come at this law with a DIFFERENT law suit to push up to the Supreme Court.

Will a lawyer please comment here? It’s like the suit that has many aspects to try, but each suit only takes a portion so in case they lose, they can come back from a different angle? Yes ???

John Roberts wanted to become the next John Marshall, instead he's become the current Roger Taney, who gave us the Dred Scot decision and arguably set the stage for the Civil War.

Under a Republican President and Senate, Chief Justice John Roberts ought to be impeached. He made this decision due to outside forces as reported by CBS News, he described his purpose as to find some way to find the law constitutional. This is not carrying out justice "without fear or favor".

Impeach and replace.

I'm sorry Aces, but I'm not sure who we'd appeal to. Perhaps to common sense but that doesn't have anything to do with the 3 branches of FedGuv these days. Appeal to God, perhaps.

However the SCOTUS is the highest court in the land. I believe the ruling is final.

We are all there hurting with you. Let's pray we are partying the day after the November election.

Hang in there!

A Supreme Court ruling can't be appealed, but it can be overturned in a later case.

I think that somebody got to Roberts and that he clearly made his decision out of fear

While slavery is a terrible thing, murder is still worse. Both Dred Scott and Roe v. Wade are bad, but Roe "legalized" killing pre-born babies.

One thing Robert's sure can't claim is "judicial restraint".

He has violated constitutional principles for political purposes.

That may be, but the Kelo decision is right up there.
