Probably most states have campaign rules against lying, especially accusing opponent of a crime.
Romney’s campaign should formally file complaints in all of those jurisdictions. Hearings will be held and finding of lie lie lie will follow.
They may even fine the Obama bunch or worse. It is a gambit worth running.
