Scripture isn’t meant to defend, it’s to HEAR and OBEY.

Sects have strange beliefs. You know, like people being raised from the dead. Reference a small sect of the Jews, about 2000 years ago. LOL.

(Sociologically, a sect becomes a religion mainly by size of membership and by acceptance within society at large.)

Anyway, if the issue is: WHICH ONE IS THE AMERICAN? then Mormonism (which I do not practice, and whose doctrine seems fitfully strange, misguided, and un-Godly) would be a point in favor of Mittens! LOL ....After all, it is the ONLY religion started and matured right here in this country!

PNSN: Scripture isn’t meant to defend, it’s to HEAR and OBEY.

Do you and Colorfornica talk much?

Cuz he or she is off posting on another thread. But you are here making sure to defend God's word. I love and believe in God's word. I not only believe in God, I believe God.

If you know the difference.

Heard of "preaching to the choir" ?

Don't know if you get what I said.... Scripture does not have to be defended is what I meant and tried to say.

Thanks for your passion; its not wasted on me (in spite of my sarcastic tone).

Text based evangelism is over-rated. Or maybe I mean text-based prosletyzing since I am already a Christian. You seem to be exhorting me to belong to a more strident denomination? or just to be a better Christian?

Do you converse like a human, or just proclaim and proceed, like Chloroformation?

By the way, intentional misunderstanding is another tool used by issue-provoking trolls.

...while NEVER saying anything against Islam. You're very single-minded.

The problem with supposedly omniscient posters like yourself who claim to know some of the "nevers" in the world -- or, at least, some nevers within the FREEPER world...
...is that it becomes all too easy to discredit their/your claims...
...which then translates into proven falsehoods...
...from which I never see such falsehood-claimers back away from their claims with "Oh, I'm sorry for posting that falsehood."

For example, less than three months ago, I posted this comment: My research/links on 11 2008-2012 FR threads tying Obama with Islam

Tell me, what other FREEPER has linked together 11 FREEPER threads pointing out Obama's Islamic ties -- or catering to Muslims (to varying degrees)? In fact, Jean S, would you care to show us your links to posts with some in-depth talking points about Islam? (The last poster who made a similar comment to yours -- last week, I think -- didn't bother answering that challenge...Hmm...strange for the track record accusatory crowd not able to display their own track record)

So, if you don't apologize for your personal falsehood claim about me, I respectfully request that you consider refraining from pinging me. (I mean I understand these are free forums and people can ping who they want; I'll simply request that if you can't bring yourself to tell the truth about me, that you please exercise some self-restraint from spreading false gossip re: my screen name).

Bottom line: Jean, you've just "shot" whatever lil' credibility you had left; an apology would at least show that you're not willing to caste aside a display of integrity/character in this particular matter.

The Truth will come out! It may take awhile but it will. When it does Obama and his pirate crew will be seen as the most corrupt gang to ever hit Washington. He will be A) a laughingstock, or B) the most hated man in America. I predict that the group who will hate him the most will be Black Americans. The De-construction of Obama has started.

What's the subject that Colofornian's post has "nothing whatsoever to do with the subject at hand."

Oh, I don't know....the subject of the article perhaps?

Or is it you can't handle reading things you don't know about mitt?

Maybe you've never noticed my posts about Mitt. I happen to be in foursquare agreement with Jim Rob about him. I can handle any information about Willard.

IMHO, about 10 percent of your posts are supportive of Obama in some ways.

Sorry...but your discernment skills are lacking somewhat here...

First of all, anti-Romney posts doesn't make them pro-Obama, anymore than...
...if a reincarnated (R) Hitler was running vs. THE Anti-Christ...
...that anti-reincarnated Hitler comments somehow would make some of my posts pro-THE Anti-Christ.

I've occasionally challenged people to prove that Obama IS a current (practicing) Muslim. All that's doing is encouraging posters to up the level of their credibility...vs. sloppy conjecture.

90 percent of your posts are anti-Mitt or anti-Mormon. I find I agree with them almost without exception. So I cannot fault you there.

Clarification needed: I am a descendent from Lds; I have family members who are Lds...I am not anti-Mormon as a people; I DO oppose MormonISM...the system...You and I both know that Eph. 6 says our battle is NOT vs. flesh & blood.

Its almost as if you accept the precedent of someone getting elected with no vetting of their religion (his perfect Arabic recitation of the Muslim call to prayer, which is the same as the Muslim statement of faith). Now that we have elected someone without regard to their religion, you refuse to recognize the precedent you seem to accept with Obama!

Less than three months ago, I posted this: My research/links on 11 2008-2012 FR threads tying Obama with Islam

If you click on most of those 11 FR links, why would conclude that...
(a) ...there was "no vetting of their religion (his perfect Arabic recitation of the Muslim call to prayer...)" when some of those links prove otherwise? (Oh sure, the MSM was lacking in its Obama vetting; doesn't equate to "NO vetting...")
(b) ...I agree with your "precedent" assessments?

The fact that you are seemingly NOT aware of those 11 FREEPER threads 'tween 2008-2012...or that I had tracked them...makes your commentary less than complete.

Agreed. I have spent a few minutes today looking at all the posts by Chlorofornian. Its an amazing volume of repetitive information, and like an instrument that can only play one note. I am a lover of free speech. And I even agree with much of what Colorfornicia says! However, I think our resi-d ent in chief is much more of a problem than Romney ever could be. If I heard once in a while from Coloroforma about how the 2-party system tends toward a globalist agenda, or about how alike the Dems and the Repubs seems, or about how money (obviously) does not buy a decent public education system, or about abortion being a problem (or even if he was vocally pro-choice!) then I would at least think it was a "person" behind the words, not an employee.

You know, TXNuke, if you were the Christian you portend to be, you wouldn't go 'round gossiping about a poster minus at least even pinging him. (That's called common courtesy)

As for wondering about my position on abortion, please don't fall into the trap that just because you've read my Summer 2012 posts that you somehow know all about me. I've stated my pro-life positions on FR literally THOUSANDS of times!

As for wondering about my internal motivations -- if I get paid for this -- no, I don't. NOT in ANY way. Never have.

And if you were the Christian you portend to be, you wouldn't openly go around inwardly judging the motivations of others. If you wish to judge me on the outside, please proceed...but the inner person...please, no.

Please, for example, consult 1 Samuel 16:7: The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

You don't know my heart, TxNuke. (God does) Please stop judging my heart. Please stop superimposing false motives into my heart. It's not a very Biblical thing to be engaging in.

And, with that, with your pernicious inward judging, your gossiping around my back, I'm done conversing with you...You portend to be one thing; yet, your posting behavior reveals fruit of another nature at work.

I don’t take lightly at all that two godless candidates are both anxious to lead America. This country has been blessed like no other because it was founded on Godly principles - one nation under God. It wasn’t by accident.

Now there’s a cult leader and the other one said this is not a Christian nation and celebrates Ramadan in our White House - evil has taken over America to be one nation under evil.

We know your claim can't be; why?

Because of posters like you and the patterns we've seen on even this thread...

Posters aren't able to defend Romney on his own merit; and posters aren't able to defend Mormonism based upon its own worldviews, doctrines, and teachings -- like the Mormon identity subject that has emerged in this thread -- the Romney "identity" issue whereby he thinks he's from a pre-existent state...spirit-born on Kolob...was sent here to inhabit a body.

Therefore...since Romney's supporters can't -- or won't -- discuss/dialogue Romney's alleged "pre-existent" identity on another planet, that pretty much leaves only one subject to turn the focus on...the poster himself...and engage in ad hominens -- personal innuendos (see post #128); personal attacks; breaking forum rules (Las Vegas Ron on post #98 -- engaging in mind-reading...which Jean repeated on post #118)

And, this pattern re-occurs over & over again...whereby posters like you temporarily turn the post subject from Romney & MormonISM to myself...And if we're now discussing myself, we've left the Romney trail...and the MormonISM trail...

So...posters who've opposed what I've said on this thread -- minus even trying to touch the subject of Kolob...thanks for confirming to all that Romney's faith is indefensible...

We're actually in agreement upon that! (So it's nice to know we agree on something...and it's a good place to draw my input to this thread to a close...to end in harmony)

Anne Romney: "Mitt, you know what I'll do to you if you don't start hitting Obama harder."

Mitt: "Well, you'll have to sew them back on first."

i hear you loud and clear. there is nothing I can add to your post. it can be very disheartening.

However, one nation under evil is an extreme position I used to ~feel~ when I was in the military. I figured God left the bureaucratic organization of man to itself. I was lacking faith.

God bless.

Colofor:

Noted.

You make a career of this.

Judgement is the name of your game. I was drawing conclusions [possibly incorrect ones] about your motivations. You tell me about my character.

Mittens is just a man. You feel about him something like the way I used to feel about Bill Clinton, only magnified and taken to an extreme I have never seen before.

God bless and --sincerely -- consider finding a more fulfilling and productive approach to life. The comparison of "sphere of concern" with one's "sphere of control" and "sphere of influence" might be something to consider here. Just my opinion.

I figured God left the bureaucratic organization of man to itself.

He has for America like He has with a 3rd world or atheistic nation. He doesn't force Himself on where men doesn't want HIM and the majority of voters have shown now for the first time in America they they don't want HIM.

As you know, HE works through people. He doesn't work through the godless. Romney and obama don't serve God, they serve evil/satan. Voters will get what they vote for.

one nation under evil is an extreme position I used to ~feel~ when I was in the military. I was lacking faith.

Those who vote for evil are on their own. I serve God and I know I will be under HIS protection no matter what - for He always protects His Own. I have knowledge of His protection under chaos so they aren't just words to me. I don't lack faith so I don't live in fear. I will never vote for evil for America!

It's easy for some to say they believe/have faith but when they are put in a vice/back against the wall, it's revealing what really is within them as it surfaces - fear or faith.

Fear is of satan. Jesus said, 'Fear not'. The fearful listen to satan and ignore what God said. The faithful listen to HIM no matter what!
