Nice compartmentalization.
So a guy running for mayor in your town is canvassing your neighborhood. You invite him in.
He notices something that indicates some religious ties in your home. You begin to discuss "religion."
You ask him about his religion.
He tells you he originated on another planet. He was born of a goddess. On a planet called Bolok.
Not phased one iota, you say, "'Tis a good thing I am not voting for a mayor to be a spiritual leader."
And so...your Bolokian would-be mayor is evaluated 100% upon all things other than his "Bolokian" alien identity; his "Bolokianism" is 100% discounted. All because, you think, ANYTHING can roll around in that head of that would-be mayor...as long as it's kept carefully compartmentalized as "religion..."
Never mind it depicts quite a bit "other worldly" about this guy's correspondence to perceived reality...Never mind re: this guy's level of discernment or gullibility to deception...
If discernment and invulnerability to deception is of import at the mayoral level, how much more so re: THE leader of the free world????
