Yeah, they did. And they left intact operating businesses behind them, including greenhouses which grew fruit, vegetables and flowers for export. The first thing the Pallies did was to destroy the greenhouses.

They got more satisfaction out of smashing up something built by Jooze than they would have obtained by simply operating them as profitable, hard currency earning businesses.

Sort of like ObaMao's attitude toward capitalism and small business.
