In a real mainstream media outlet, such a slap-in-the-face reminder of reality would likely result in that comment being deleted or comments being suspended altogether.
Personally, I do not trust our very highest military. They **know** that Obama has posted forged birth documents. They KNOW that he has used multiple social security numbers and that his current SS# is from a man born in the 1890s. These perfumed princes **know** that Obama fails e-verify.
Shame on them! Where is there commitment to their oath to defend the Constitution? Where is the evidence that they have peacefully and **legally** asked congress or the courts for clarification of Obama’s eligibility? Is this how they watch the backs of the brave and honorable men and women serving under insane rules of engagement in Afghanistan and Iraq?

They are very stupid and arrogant to believe they can calibrate, control and crush the outflow of angry hornets from the nest they are nudging. They greatly underestimate the numbers, motivation, and stinging power of the hornets.
They greatly overestimate their power to turn the USA into the USSA, and the FBI into the KGB. Even if they are quite a ways along that continuum, (see Fast and Furious etc), they are probably dangerously overreaching.
Even Hitler was smart enough not to invade Switzerland, the land of "One German, one shot." Our would-be commissars are truly clueless about our latent capabilities, and theirs.
What ever happened to wargaming scenarios against Orangeland and Pineland, designed to cause no political blowback from any quarter? Clearly, this is a calculated insult and poke in the eye to name the Evil White Racist / Tea Party Militia as the National Villains. This is just a stunning change to name and call out an ethnic and regional group as National Villain. This is dangerous territory.
I can only conclude that the liberal elite powers-that-be have an epic hard-on for "white racist Tea Party militia terrorists."
We cannot ignore this trend. We have had our warning. The leaders of the libtard elite establishment are chomping at the bit to unleash hell on their mortal enemies, the Bitter Clinger Nation. Having played the games against Red/Orange, and only having a lackluster support from Green to help us (Blue), I learned one thing from that period in my life...You can only trust those in Blue, those completely on our side at the end of the day...
The Colonel setup this discussion, and it has been in my opinion very productive, Steel Wolf brought up some excellent points and observations...I will be studying these two trains of thought, and try to answer some of my own concerns...
Bottom line...I feel there are a lot more things working aginst us, then working for us...We need to figure out the lines and strengthen our positions on the legal, political and social impact of our decisions on the future...Tactics will obviously be governed by regional/local factors...We will obviously have to be very flexible in that regard as well...

That may be one of the excuses, but the real objective is the preservation of “Big Government” at all costs.
Government, government beneficiaries, and all those in that sphere cannot justify their continued existence through rational argument.
They must get the increasing revenue that such bureaucracy demands - this is indirect intimidation “you might be a terrorist” to be followed by more direct intimidation “we seize assets of terror group members”.
Anyone who gets a government benefit check of any kind is already predisposed to help gather information.
Changing the historical demographic of the military is essential to making CONUS operations against US citizens possible (despite constitutional prohibitions). That shift has already begun.
Perhaps he wrote some story words for his employer so he can get paid. Thats what he does, apparently.

Several readers objected to our using the Tea Party in our fictional scenario. We see your point. Understand, though, that you could insert any number of organizations into our scenario in lieu of the Tea Party. The scenario and the response thereto, rather than the specific actors, are the focus of our piece.
Our objective was to highlight what we believe is an understudied area of potential operations. Given that US Army doctrine sees full-spectrum operations as a mix of offense, defense, and either stability [overseas] or support [in the continental US and territories] operations, how our Army conducts full spectrum operations at home is an important topic. In recent times we've all seen the Army and Marines committed to Los Angeles, Miami, and New Orleans all under various conditions of defense support to civil authority. There were some lessons-learned articles and studies written after those operations, but after more than ten years of war none remain in the current curricula of our staff and war colleges. Through discussion on this site, facilitated by Small Wars Journal, we hope this subject will be studied.
