Hmmm. The Chinese truly crave jet engine technology. They have problems with materials technology, so producing them is difficult; they end up having to buy a lot of them.
I wonder if any of these will end up in the PRC for reverse engineering?

Oh, goodie! Does that mean we're friends again? In the late '90s something happened and the US military became not quite persona non grata here, but pretty close to it. It is kinda a love/hate relationship with a fairly sizable undercurrent of mistrust on both sides. Makes for being a US citizen in Papua, which has its own problems, a bit interesting.
