Toricelli was a criminal. Since when does making a verbl gaffe the equivalent of being under investigation for a crime? Personal note: I knew his mistress in the DC area.
My point was there is an opportunity to jettison Akin and put someone in there that will win. I do not believe Akin is even remotely the corrupt SOB Toricelli was. I don’t even think Akin is a bad guy. I think he’s stupid, in a Biden way, and that won’t do. Sorry for the confusion.
