I honestly don't know why I care so much.
He doesn’t review everything. He didn’t review The Lorax for one. Also, I’m pretty sure most of what he reviews is through advanced critic’s screenings. That’s why his reviews tend to be out on Wednesday or Thursday before the movie opens. It’s an unusual event if he sees a movie after it’s been released and gets the review out only on or after the release day. It’s only got 7 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. So Ebert’s not the only critic who skipped it. They may not have had critic’s screenings for this one...probably a wise thing to keep the buzz as positive as possible for a movie liberal critics wouldn’t tend to like.
