Wisdom gained how? By what Method? Based upon what?

I could give you many examples but I’m guessing they would not interest you. I am not a scientist by profession but I keep up with news of new discoveries as much as time allows. If you say there is no evidence then there is no point in arguing further. I have nothing else to offer.

What can you give me many examples of?

If you are not a scientist, then why do you take what scientists say as dogma instead of examining what they put forth as “examples” or “proof” (the latter word not applicable to anything except scientific laws)?

Yeah, fancy Wikileftism doing that. I’m just totally shocked.

Fine, let's go to sites that specializes in countering pseudoscience:

http://skepdic.com/creation.html http://www.skeptic.com/resource-topics/evolution-creationism/ http://www.csicop.org/resources#creationism

Do you know of any organizations devoted to the debunking of pseudoscience in general that don't include creationism?  I can't think of a one...

Creationism is, by any reasonable definition, a pseudoscience.

That’s kinda what led to the religious confusion that is prevalent even today.

So religious confusion exists because there are people who don't believe in the faith that you've chosen to take part in? M'kay...

Apes never became men, as far as the scientific evidence would tell us.

Actually, humans are apes.  If you disagree, then please tell me to which Family homo sapiens belongs under biological taxonomy.

“Biological families” are artifices of scientists. Treating them like absolutes raises the notion of taxonomy to a dogma rather than a science.

That does not follow. It also veers into ad-hominem territory.

“It takes wisdom to know when rationality alone is sufficient, and when it is not.”

When is that time and how do you decide?

Why is my belief in the scientific method dogmatic but belief in the book of Genesis is rational? I don’t say that the scientific method is perfect but I do believe that reason is man’s only way of gaining knowledge.

One example of a transitional fossil is the recent discovery of several whale species with legs instead of flippers and some with half leg/ half flipper appendages that lived in a shallow sea in the area that is now the eastern Mediterranean. The Fossil record records several intermediate stages of a land mammal returning to the sea and evolving flippers. Now there is your transition stage evidence.

How many examples would it take before you recognized the evidence as legitimate? I agree that there are large gaps in the fossil records and that is why I don’t believe in evolution as the only mechanism at work. I do believe the universe was created with conscious intent. You have whole new types of animals suddenly appearing in the fossil record that can’t be explained by slow evolution.

On the other hand the idea that the Earth is only several thousand years old is absurd, in my opinion.

The fossil record shows absolutely nothing of the kind. All it shows is extinct species. Joining one species to another via presumed “evolution” is pure conjecture.

If evolutionary dogmatists cannot prove their theory by means other than attacking religion, then how is it within the auspices of reason?

FTR, there is nothing in the Bible that states that the planet is a mere seven millennia old.

I've never encountered anyone who didn't believe in Linnaean taxonomy!

This is fascinating. Do you also not believe that humans are primates?

Mammals?

Vertebrates?

You can’t be serious that there is no stated ‘alphabet’ code there - A, C, T, G - ring any bells?

Many biological features are most definitely shared and furthermore there is a symbiotic relationship between all life forms

AND it’s not just that life begets the same type of life but also that life feasts on other life forms - it’s the life cycle and it’s way weigh waay more complex than Mr. Darwin ever dreamed when he contrived his racist money-making [err monkey-making] theory - that ‘completely falls apart if you do not find thousands upon thousands of transitional life forms in the fossil record!’

- last in quotes is a paraphrase from Darwin himself.

Sure [creation] and short ages are absurd. Why they’d have to lie, hide, ignore and fabricate on literally hundreds of facts and data points. For instance - claiming those whale appendages must have been legs at one time - YEAH RIGHT!!!

There also happens to be plenty of science [ and math ] that supports creation - if YOU DARE to read any opposing facts, opinions, conjectures, and theories.

BTW the real progress made by hard sciences - all of the major and most minor contributions came from Jews and Christians [maybe you heard of Newton and Einstein?]. Just in case you could be bothered to study a little history on the matter, not to mention how often like minded God fearing and faith filled folks are being mistreated by the modern day liberal universities.

Sorta like waking up one day and being told your scientific research and ideas that propelled the industrial, military, and information ages are no longer welcome here...

See the book of Job 40-15-24 in the Bible to read what is described regarding Behemoth - sounds like a dinosaur to me - for a book that does not claim to be older than 3,500 years or so...

What other animal in God’s kingdom has a tail this large?

Pinging you to post #95-99 of this related duplicate thread, even though you may not really care about what facts and history the liberal news cycle does not feel compelled to provide for you.
