Well, nobody online knows exactly where she lives, nobody knows her full name, her pictures are in the newspapers often, she never leaves our small town alone, she’s almost 17 years old (and in this part of the world that is one year from grown), so yes, I think it’s fine.
She is also a very very smart girl and has been well coached about how dangerous it can be out there and in cyberspace. Her activities online are monitored and her phone is checked regularly. Other than keep her in a locked room she is kept as safe as she can be and still be allowed to have a life.
Pedophiles and other trash are not just online.
