The fact is, THINKING conservatives who understand that America cannot endure another 4 years of the Communist 0bamugabe will pull the lever for Romney & Ryan because as you have said yourself, "the alternative is unthinkable".

Of course we have the ideological purists whose kneejerk reactions are to accuse others of 'selling their soul' or some other lame rhetorical clap trap because they are voting for the GOP ticket, the ONLY ticket that has a chance of winning and prevailing over the 'Rats.

As FReeper 'Going Hot' wisely said "survival trumps ideology" but the purists would prefer to see 0bama win another term in Office so he can finish the job of destroying our Republic, they would prefer to 'teach the GOP' a lesson, even if the cost is our national survival. Such purist 'conservatives' are like arsonists who arrive at the scene of the fire disguised as volunteer fire fighters, carrying jugs of gasoline beneath their coats. They get off on seeing just how high they can make the flames go. It isn't just sad, it is deranged.
