Truth: There are one hundred votes. Candidate Bambi gets 49. 1 vote for Virgil Moron, 1 vote for Tom Halfling, 1 vote for Fairy Johnson. (or all 3 vote for Bob Barred, whatever). The remainder vote for a RINO squish knowing they have a chance to get rid of the worst, most divisive, most destructive, most Marxist, pro-muzzie, pro-death, anti-freedom, anti-God, anti-American, anti-everything we say we love and care for administration ever. Who wins?

There's the rub. There will ONLY be one of two men who will occupy the White House after the elections: 1) the evil incumbent Marxist Rat or 2) RINOmey, whose theocracy I don't agree with.

While I do not wish to elect a RINO, it is not 'standing on principle' to HELP re-elect a godless Marxist food stamp king for another 4 years who is of a party which has openly denied God thrice, embraces homosexuality and sexual deviancy, has evidenced a will and desire to appoint additional liberal Supreme Court justices; rules by executive fiat as a means to circumvent the Rule of Law; continues eroding and eviscerating our Constitution and economy; and flagrantly opposes the will of the People.

There is NO principle is helping such a man as that to retain the presidency. We are not debating over primaries. That is past, and Obama or Romney is what's left standing. Choose your battles wisely. The war has yet to be won. Having Obama for another 4 years there will be no country left for which to engage a war.

You have expertly and accurately explained the situation in terms that even n00b trolls, ideological purists and contrarian old cranks can (or should) understand.

There is NO third party candidate that has one chance in Hell of winning this election, it will be either 0bama & Biden, or it will be Romney & Ryan.

This election is unlike any other in our history. We have one shot, and ONLY one shot to slam the brakes on this insidious and treasonous Communist regime and throw that Kenyan sonuvabitch from the train. If he wins, if he is again sworn in next January, we can kiss America goodbye, and it will be due to the unwitting fools who chose to do the work of the 'Rats for them with their continued and persistent attacks on the only political vehicle with a chance of getting rid of 0bama. Who benefits? 0bama does. Who loses?

As you said Nic, the battle must be chosen wisely, unfortunately at this point there are way too many nit wits who, under the banner of conservative ideological purity, would rather see 0bama have another 4 years to destroy this Nation than to vote for a candidate who doesn't measure up to their standards.
