In Finland during the Winter War they used to publish the sniper kills in the newspapers like sports scores. Just sayin’.

Dang, Bill... I'd nearly forgotten that tidbit (which I think I'd heard before from archy). Do you know of any sources where scanned images of those "scores" can be found? Might be an interesting graphic to toss out there on certain threads, with no further elaboration needed.
