Urgent prayer request for FReeper METMOM.
Metmom was admitted to the hospital this past Tuesday with serious complications from what started out as a minor, out-patient procedure. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors treating her to find the root cause of the problem, a good response to the medications and a full recovery. Pray for her family, as well, for their peace and strength as they trust in the Lord to heal their beloved wife and mother.
Dear Metmom, I will pray that God gives you special protection and mercy and that you experience His protection and love for you.
Almighty Father, please heal Metmom and see to all her needs. I ask this in the Name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen.
May metmom come through this all with grace, kindness and fortitude.
Dear Jesus,
Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick,
we turn to You in this time of illness.
O dearest Comforter of the Troubled,
alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love,
and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden.
Dear God,
we place our worries in Your hands.
We ask that You restore Your servant to health again.
Above all,
grant us the grace to acknowledge Your holy will
and know that whatsoever You do,
You do for the love of us.
Amen.

I spoke with Metmom this afternoon and, although she is still in the hospital, she IS improving. She still has some pain and residual swelling and infection. The antibiotics and other treatments are resulting in marked relief and she is resting semi-comfortably.
She sends her thanks to all of you for your prayers and heartfelt thoughts and hopes to be released on Tuesday. She will try to sign on and give us some further info when she is able.
I want to personally than all of you here for your response. For a website that claims hundreds of thousands of members, there is still a sense of being among close friends and family. God bless you all for your faithfulness and caring ways.

Amen. Thanks for letting us know. Kind of quiet around here without her. And it is touching to see kind wishes even from some past combatants.
