Jewish vote ping
I can certainly believe this of the Orthodox Jewish community. I will never understand their past support for Hillary Clinton, though.
Good to see Romney crack that nut.
Hah! I posted a moment ago without having read beyond the headline. (tsk tsk) Only when I went back to read it did I realize it was written in the inimitable style of Daniel Greenfield. He's one person I would love to meet someday. What a mind!
Its about time that my co-religionists woke up and realized that there are huge differences between these 2 people - differences that correlate perfectly to the different approaches of the parties on issues of import to Jewish voters.
In that case, the Klintonistas got to one highly influential rabbi and basically bribed him with the idea of state supprt for his supporters’ schools. Shame on him for giving in to the temptation.
Daniel is such a treasure trove of information. Check out "The Point" (I think I called it The Front in error on this link) at frontpage.com, which is where this came from. I don't post everything from there - don't want to hog too much space, but it's all worth a look.
We live in hope, but somehow I fear this poll is incorrect.
I live in a Philly suburban township that is 25 percent Jewish. In 2008 I saw Obama signs everywhere, including some in Hebrew. I see almost no Obama signs this year - including some yards where there are signs for other Dem candidates such as Casey but not Obama.
I live in a red half suburban, half semi-rural area of FL. The only bank of Obama signs I’ve seen so far is the line in front of the gay bar on one of our main roads. It sticks out like a sore thumb. So Obama has the depravity vote.
I’m sure there are some in front of Dem HQ but I haven’t driven past there recently.
What do ya suppose woke ‘en up?
Yeah, well....Rush mentioned yesterday he would not rule out a bombing with Israel on Iran, before the election....a desperate gimmick for votes...
With past voting tendencies, Republican Jews are over-sampled. :) If true, however, it is doom for Dims’ chances.
At first I thought the administration wouldn’t do anything without Muslim blessings but if Muslims kill each other without any qualms the idea is actually possible. Anything to keep the Muslim Brotherhood within the U.S. government.

Fascinating stuff. This is all totally new to me. Thanks for posting.
I believe you can sense a seismic shift in the long-term preference of Jews for the democratic party.
The social issues they heavily prefer (abortion for example) still prevent them from a full swing to the GOP, but when a influential and generous part of the Democratic base moves away or to neutral, then the Dems have to be scared and be prepared to throw Obama overboard.
Dems cannot afford to have heavy political donors, influential citizens in many areas of our culture, and sure-to-vote folks decide to change or turn neutral.
This is pleasantly surprising, if true.
A million votes here, a million votes there... it looks like it’s starting to pile up in R/R’s favor.
I am certain 0 will get less Jewish support this time than he did in 2008, but would be shocked if he got fewer than 70% of the Jewish vote in 2012. In 2008, he won 78%.
