Justifiable homicide in Detroit is a gangsta killing another gangsta and the homicide division being too understaffed and overworked to develop the cases. They are probably saying, “Hey, scum killing scum, where’s the crime?” The courts are most likely refusing to issue on these cases as well.
Detroit is not the only major city with that outlook...
The only reason this nation has not broken down into outright civil war is that these “scum” are not organized and are at war with each other. Should they day come that they do get organized, they will turn their focus outward. (They will still lose, but it will be costly for both sides)
I’d love to say it is a 100% democrat caused issue but there are a few dem controlled cities that are rather nice (not a lot thought).
The real issue is as obvious as black and white.
Even when GIVEN a pre-made city of wealth they have simply let it devolve into something out of the jungle.
Hard to rampage out of the city when you have no gas, and these people don’t walk far.

I agree with you, but... I remember a scene out of the book “Dies the Fire”, the baddies eventually were reduced to doing their raiding on bicycles. I.E. if there is a will there is a way.
It’s nothing but a publicity stunt for prop 2.
