In a word: “Blacks.”
Same as with almost every other once-proud city in the US. Even some here at FR want to deny it, invariably saying that “Democrats” destroyed our cities. And that, of course, removes all on-the-ground personal responsibility. The Dems may have handed the blacks our cities — but they didn’t tell them to go out and rape and ravage them.
As Satchel Page said, “Ain’t nobody can help being average. But ain’t nobody forced to be common.”
It’s time to stop telling blacks in the US that they have no responsibility for their own actions.
The welfare society did it to them. White folks, commies and libs, did that.
