“I understand that deer are animals and they need to travel across the streets occasionally to survive and of course to find food, but It’s so irresponsible of us to allow these deer crossings to be in areas where deer are likely to be struck by oncoming traffic. You’d think they would put deer crossings in smaller towns – maybe at a school crossing would be a safer place for them to cross.”
“They can direct the deer population anywhere they want to by moving that deer crossing sign. Why in the world would they place it on the highway or the interstate? There are so many other places I can think of than putting deer crossing signs on busy highways or interstates. The deer crossing sign is there to allow the deer to know that that’s where they need to cross. Don’t put deer crossing signs on the interstate or freeways. Put them in lower traffic areas where it’s a lot slower – small towns – I think school crossings is a good idea.”

same here in my town of St Augustine, tons of signs have popped up.
There are a couple which directs and lets tourists know where a certain place is and of which no one ever goes to and is a complete waste of tax money.
Its a site which had the first 100 slaves live freely for just 12 years, problem is no one ever goes to it. Two park rangers work there which do nothing and millions have been invested into a new building which is crap, small and has nothing in much.
But hey lets waste millions of tax money on a peice of ground where just over a 100 freed slaves once lived for 12 years.
We have signs about saying don;t drink and drive etc too.

Well the crops are, ummm, growing very well and they’re organic and some of them have pesticides and I think that we should make a perfect pesticide for the crops that, umm, is good for people and healthy and keeps the crops preserve too because we need the food because it’s food and stuff, and organic food is good, also...
oh and ummm the businesses in downtown, umm, really need to lower their rent because if the rent was lowered those people would really have their own businesses they have enough stuff, they’re very good at making things they’re like experts they’re really good...
and it can really be a community and, umm, make the things and, umm, sell them in our stores and I really belive that it can be a California thing it can really work out because we can be rich in cotton and mining minerals and silk worms (??) and making things,... cars and the machines to make it work and we can have the community and city San Fransisco and we can make things and put them in the stores on the east coast they have slaves and slavery and made in china but on the west coast the new west coast we don’t believe in union... and that’s what we are , and the Bush administration which is really good , um , he has funding for small business owners, the you can grow every kind of fruit and vegetable that you want that’s how they do it they have fruit trees and vegetable trees, that’s where fruit and vegetable comes from, you freeze the fruit and vegetables it will last forever you can put like broccoli or strawberries in the freezer it will last forever if you don’t, um, it might go bad in a while....
People, we live in California this is our home , this is where we live, growing food is so good, umm... for the people because its free, alls you have to do is pay the farmers and pay for the land but why do we have to pay for the land? the land is free its new land you know, I mean do you have to pay for the land? do you have to pay rent do you have to pay um... the foods FREE so we should just..... sell it at the farmers market

Naaa, they will just replace those deer crossing signs with pedestrian signs.
I just hope that they don’t move the crossings at the same
time we go on daylight savings time. That’ll REALLY confuse
the deer!
