One thing that occurs to me is that if they want "free" universal health care, there is a way to get it. It's not easy, but it's good for your lifetime, and covers a lot of your health concerns.

ENLIST! The VA might not be the best, but what can you expect from government managed care? And payment is purely based on income and available insurance.

It might be more of a sacrifice than the "bright" ones are willing to make, however...

I served for almost 40 years, and now have TRICARE Prime as a primary healthcare. Some benefits are OK, but the wait times are not acceptable. My neighbor was a one issue voter which was the "free healthcare", and I told him "if you think it is expensive now, wait until it is free". He now regrets voting for the won - lost his business because of healthcare increases.
