I agree. This is scandal upon scandal:

1. A “deal” with Al Qaeda in Benghazi (17th Feb Martyr's Brigade for outside security!) in return for

2. Running guns from the Libyan stockpiles to Al Qaeda groups in Syria.

3. Obama couldn't pull the trigger on a rescue and upset the above-outlined disgusting applecart,

4. So he punted and went to bed, while his ambassador was missing and was being dragged in the streets, because resting up for Las Vegas was more important to him.

5. And finally, to cover up his malfeasance and dereliction of duty, he cooked up the “The Mohamed Video Did It” cover and excuse, even taking this pro-sharia “we understand your anger” apology message to the U.N. on Sept. 25, two weeks later.

I just saw a headline at Drudge, that the Pentagon is claiming they knew too little to send troops to Benghazi. Maybe they’re parsing words, talking about ground troops when the contingency plan would call for something else. But if they knew that Stevens was in a safe room that’s all they need to know for a contingency plan to kick in, if I’m understanding what you said. This is what drills are for. This is what equipment and troops are stationed in various places for.

Seems to me that what Obama should have said in the debate was that it makes no sense to have an adequate military when the foreign enemy combatant in the White House will never let us use what we’ve got anyway. All the money spent on the military is a waste if the guy at the head isn’t willing to let the military do what it is created and trained to do.

Obama has disposed of the Constitution and the rule of law. Now it’s becoming increasingly clear that he is disposing of the US military. What’s sad is that the leadership of that military seems to be going right along with it. And they of all people should know better.

The fact that the dad of this SEAL immediately knew that the stories coming out sounded like BS - simply because he knew some of the military protocols - tells me that the military people have all got to know something is very, very wrong here.

And the fact that this slain SEAL’s dad said his son had misgivings about this last mission he was supposed to do suggests that even before the attack, this SEAL knew something was wrong there.
