Well, you don’t want your case thrown out and you be prosecuted for breaking the law that says “no cell phones inside the polling place”. As an election worker, I have to step outside to make a call, and I can’t take a call inside either. Phone must be OFF.
I suggest wearing a wire. Wisconsin law allows you to tape a conversation as long as one party knows it is being recorded (you).
